About Carlo
Carlo photographs people, places and events for magazines, TV & films. His work has taken him from Ground Zero New York to a village in Uganda; tuna fishing in Sicily to Holy Week in Spain; The Household Cavalry Barracks in London to portraits of Olympic swimming champion Mark Foster; FishWorks Cookbook to film stills of Jane Austen's 'Persuasion'.
Carlo's photographs have appeared in the Telegraph Magazine; BBC Radio Times; The Independent; Life Magazine, Footprint Handbooks and The Times. Exhibitions include: 'Heart of Africa' - Royal Commonwealth Society; London 2000; 'A Movable Feast' - Fstop Gallery; Bath 1992 and more recently, 'History In The Making' - a documentary illustrating 3 years construction of the New Spa complex in Bath shown at the Architecture Centre, Bristol 2004. Photographs from 9/11 have also been exhibited at the International Center of Photography, New York - 'Here Is New York' 2002; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York - 'Life In The City' 2002.
Currently, Carlo is putting together a book on his 3 years as 'photographer in residence' at the Thermae Bath Spa.
